Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the full range of personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
  • •Provide one-on-one counseling, consultation with leadership or other providers, briefings/presentations, and referral resources outside counseling sessions.

  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials, and coordinate/publicize Personal Financial Management classes and workshops across the military lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider associate degree plus 4 years or high school diploma plus 6 years in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and complete the OCI process if required.
  • •Must hold AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification (and be bilingual English/Spanish if required by the contract).
