Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out installation, service, and repairs on Canon wide format printers while adhering to standard call procedures.
  • •Provide first-line troubleshooting (root cause analysis) on wide format devices to meet service level agreements.
  • •Achieve a high first-time fix rate and minimum return rates using cost-effective labour time and parts.
  • •Communicate effectively with customers and internal Canon departments; provide technical escalation support when required.
  • •Provide customer product instruction and training, ensure post-sale field service requirements are met, and record activities correctly per company guidelines.

Salary: GBP 35,273

Key Requirements

  • •NVQ or equivalent in an electrical and/or mechanical discipline.
  • •Competent Service Engineer in a production/commercial environment with a passion for fault finding and resolution.
  • •Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical environments, including relevant IT experience.
  • •Understanding of health and safety guidelines and full compliance with H&S and product safety checks.
  • •Full UK driving license.
