Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the hands-on design and development of innovative hardware and automated software test systems for high-volume production.
  • •Partner with engineering designers to define test strategies, create test plans, and ensure compliance with product test specifications.
  • •Design and deliver advanced test systems, including production test applications, factory test equipment, hardware schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
  • •Develop automated test software using LabVIEW to control instrumentation, communication interfaces, embedded programming, and automated production processes.
  • •Provide technical leadership and stakeholder engagement, supporting fault diagnosis and repair activities and representing the business with customers and suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •Acquire a minimum HND qualification in Engineering, Computing, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Proven experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting production test equipment in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • •Demonstrated expertise developing complex, reliable, user-friendly LabVIEW-based automated test solutions.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of test technologies, validation, and instrumentation integration, including Boundary Scan (XJTAG), and automation/control of PXI, GPIB, and USB-based test equipment.
  • •Proven capability with communications and system integration, including protocols such as RS232, RS422, MIL-STD-1553, CANBus, and Ethernet.
