Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with supervising and supporting birds and RTFCR operations, including weighing, placing/removing birds, and preparing FCR units for accurate data collection and feed usage.
  • •Inspect birds, observe for signs of illness, treat per instructions, manage mortality, and euthanize selected/weak birds according to policy.
  • •Monitor and adjust ventilation and light; clean and disinfect waterers and pens; perform housekeeping and maintain biosecurity procedures.
  • •Help repair pens and equipment; support vaccination and isolation procedures if needed for disease control.
  • •Record required operational and bird information (e.g., line, MG, bird weight, medications, feed/water intake, mortality) and support preventative maintenance.
