Job Summary

Support power delivery and infrastructure projects by performing civil engineering work for due diligence, investigations, remediation, permitting, and construction. Analyze site conditions using field data, surveys, blueprints, GIS, and geotechnical information, and help develop designs using modeling and concept development. Produce technical reports, calculations, and visualizations, maintain quality control and health & safety plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data from site surveys, blueprints, GIS, subsurface utility, maps, and geotechnical sources to support project development and design.
•Perform civil engineering work by researching and inspecting proposed and existing site conditions to ensure conformance with rules, standards, and permits.
•Participate in modeling, concept development, and design requirements to support safety, functionality, and future-ready solutions.
•Work with cross-functional teams to lay out installations, establish reference points/elevations/grades, calculate costs/quantities, and ensure compliance documentation.
•Prepare and present accurate technical reports, calculations, sketches, and visualizations; support quality control and health & safety plans (HASPs).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).
•3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in an engineering discipline with prior civil design experience.
•Engineer in Training Certification.
•Knowledge of civil engineering principles and their application to permitting and project work issues.
•Experience with infrastructure planning/design and construction management (rehabilitation and new design).
