Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care, including educating patients and families and offering emotional support.
  • •Assess and reassess patients, collect pertinent health data, analyze findings, and determine nursing diagnoses and care outcomes.
  • •Create, monitor, and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team in collaboration with patients and bystanders.
  • •Record vital signs, address and escalate abnormalities, and manage deteriorating patients using the Early Warning System escalation process and AHA emergency algorithms.
  • •Administer medications and treatments, perform wound care management, support patient admission/transfer/discharge, and provide life support within regulatory scope.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority and meet required qualifications and experience.
  • •Manage professional re-licensure in a timely manner.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
  • •Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
