Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure appropriate spares are available at external AMO facilities and that regulatory compliance records are entered into MIS TRAX and validated.
  • •Action AOG, critical, routine requisitions and transfer orders promptly, including filling for increased volume or when B&H personnel are on leave.
  • •Perform regular surveillance audits and stock takes to ensure material transactions in TRAX are correct, including mailbox management of transfer orders and logistics requirements.
  • •Coordinate part movements to support planned maintenance and defect rectification within a Heavy Maintenance environment.
  • •Control freight costs and manage suppliers through vendor performance meetings, updating procedures/manuals with suppliers and developing corrective/preventative actions from audit findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum five years of procurement (purchasing or repairs) or logistics experience, preferably in an operational environment.
  • •5 years relevant experience in the aviation industry and experience at a high capacity passenger transport operator.
  • •Understanding of aircraft maintenance materials and aircraft support systems.
  • •Working knowledge of MIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • •Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
