Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform work with strict adherence to safety procedures and best practices, regularly developing and presenting safety topics.
  • •Perform routine and emergency maintenance and compliance activities on plant instrumentation and control systems, including weekends/holidays and scheduled shifts.
  • •Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain power plant instrumentation systems and equipment, including transmitters, control valves, valve positioners, and thermocouples.
  • •Learn and apply plant processes and tools, including entering WRs and PRs into Maximo and communicating LOTO requests to Operations.
  • •Assist with design and implementation of O&M and Capital projects, and cover unit start-up and shut-down activities with assistance from other technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •High school education or GED equivalent required.
  • •One (1) year as I&C or two (2) years related work experience required.
  • •Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications may apply to required skills.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot low voltage electrical circuits effectively.
  • •Proficient computer skills and ability to use resources like drawings and calibration data sheets.
