Job Summary

Lead and grow Wood’s specialist consulting services in Kazakhstan, acting as the primary focal point for client engagement, business development, and contracting with conventional oil & gas operating companies. Plan, resource, and execute consultancy workscopes using local and global teams, support tendering with CTR quotations and technical proposals, and manage budgeting, agreements, and invoicing. Build a local delivery team and coordinate with cost control, HR, finance, and HSEQ to ensure compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the primary focal point for growing specialist engineering services in Kazakhstan.
•Support local business development with major clients and build a portfolio of work.
•Assist local and global tendering teams with CTR quotations and writing technical proposals.
•Accountable for planning, resourcing, and execution of consultancy workscopes using local and global resources.
•Proactively grow the local delivery team, including resourcing, recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding; coordinate with support functions for delivery and compliance.

Key Requirements

•Engineering or management degree with demonstrated practical experience in the oil and gas sector.
•Demonstrable experience in O&G operational integrity management/maintenance.
•Significant experience managing technical work-scopes.
•Working knowledge of an international engineering consultancy operating model, including commercial remuneration and value proposition.
•Fluency in English and proven capability as a credible, concise communicator.
