  • •Serve as a technical expert in field inspections and quality audits, recognized as the internal and external go-to expert.
  • •Provide guiding direction for inspections, setting direction and goals for inspection and/or the business line.
  • •Lead the audit strategy for the individual’s area of expertise and act as an external spokesperson on technical project issues.
  • •Oversee construction inspectors on assigned projects to ensure compliance with all codes, rules, and regulations.
  • •Work directly with construction contractors and, when appropriate, recommend or cause notices of violation, stop work orders, and temporary approval for occupancy.

Key Requirements

  • •HS plus ten years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices (must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review).
  • •Experience working with construction contractors and guiding inspections on engagements.
  • •Experience providing overall guidance and supervision of subordinates.
  • •Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and willingness to work flexible schedules as needed, including overnight work.
