Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical input and metallurgical guidance to support process design and production execution using materials science and engineering fundamentals.
  • •Under guidance of the Sr Manager, plan and execute technology assessment and/or development programs to improve productivity and quality and increase forged product performance.
  • •Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal sales/marketing and engineering teams to develop or qualify new materials and support predictive modeling to improve product performance.
  • •Plan and execute production-type special projects under contract with commercial or governmental customers.
  • •Coordinate project deliverables across forged products business locations and ATI locations, reporting progress to senior leadership and supporting proposals and customer visits as needed.
