Job Summary

Lead and oversee all work for a Traffic Management Center (TMC) program, including general management, QA/QC, contract administration, and support for management personnel. Serve as the primary point of contact for operational matters, manage staff administration and performance, and drive performance measurement, reporting, and implementation of client policies. Conduct data analytics activities (economic and system evaluation) and provide daily updates, while remaining on call 24/7/365 for emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide general management, oversight, QA/QC, contract administration, and management support personnel for the TMC program.
•Be available during off-duty hours to assist operations staff and provide on-call coverage 24/7/365 for emergencies and operational problems.
•Participate in on-site and off-site meetings, building and maintaining relationships with operational stakeholders.
•Manage staff administration, performance, and oversight, including performance measurement, management, and reporting.
•Lead implementation and oversight of client policies/directives and conduct data analytics (including economic and system evaluation), reporting daily and producing weekly/monthly reports as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
•12+ years of relevant experience.
•Experience in TMC operations with at least 5 years of project management experience in TMC/traffic/emergency operations and transportation systems management and operations (TSMO).
•At least 4 years of project management experience on projects with a net worth of at least $5M.
•Experience supervising a minimum of twenty-five employees.
