Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and sequence the clinical pathway for cancer patients across directorates and clinical services, responding to plan variations and ensuring timely intervention.
  • •Monitor patient progress and ensure proactive planning and appropriate escalation when deviations occur.
  • •Facilitate multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, provide administrative support, ensure information is available, and communicate MDT action plans within 24 hours.
  • •Support patient and family needs including appointments, communication of altered appointments, discharge planning, and linking with other care providers and support staff.
  • •Maintain quality, safety, and data management by supporting clinical governance activities, generating monthly reports, identifying concerns, and proposing pathway improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in nursing (minimum two-year course duration) and registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
  • •UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
  • •Has worked within an appropriate service environment within the last 2 years.
  • •Resuscitation Certificate as per the specialty, with demonstrable ongoing and active CPD.
  • •Good computer knowledge and awareness/understanding of KCH policies and initiatives.
