Job Summary

Lead design and analysis of municipal water pipelines across the United States, collaborating with pipeline design experts on planning, design, and rehabilitation projects. Perform field inspections and condition assessments, pursue pipe failure and forensics analyses, and support projects from planning through construction. Bring PE licensure (or ability to obtain within 6 months) and 8+ years in water/wastewater pipeline design, with CAD/Mathcad/MATLAB experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with pipeline design experts to develop and review design and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
•Conduct field inspections and condition assessments to ensure compliance with design standards and regulations.
•Work on projects related to pipeline failure analysis and pipeline forensics analysis.
•Work on projects from planning through design and construction services, for new and rehabilitation pipe designs.
•Provide technical guidance to AECOM project teams and mentoring junior level staff.

Key Requirements

•BS in Civil, Geotechnical or Structural Engineering, and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency or experience and/or education.
•Licensed PE or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
•8 years of project experience in design of municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater pipeline design, analysis, installation, and inspection.
•Previous experience in Mathcad / MATLAB.
•Valid U.S. Driver’s License and pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review.
