Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and contribute to specifications and implementations written by other team members.
  • •Design and develop features, feature tests, and solutions; fix bugs and refactor code as needed.
  • •Work with Arista’s engineers to identify bottlenecks in workflows, tooling, and infrastructure and provide fixes.
  • •Provide support for tools and infrastructure used by Arista’s development teams.
  • •Own projects from definition to deployment, ensuring the quality of delivered work.

Key Requirements

  • •At least a BS in Computer Science + 3 years’ experience, or an MS + 2 years’ experience, or a PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • •Knowledge of one or more: Go, Python, Javascript, C++, Java.
  • •Knowledge of Linux (or UNIX).
  • •Understanding of operating systems, networking systems, and distributed systems.
  • •Applied understanding of software engineering principles, with strong troubleshooting skills.
