Job Summary

Run offensive security engagements using an evolving offensive solution, including scoping, executing tooling, triaging results, and advising clients on deployment and remediation. Between client engagements, pentest Mistral’s own systems and hunt vulnerabilities in open-source and real-world targets. Help guide a “cyber harness” by validating its outputs, benchmarking agent vs. human performance, and contributing to AI-powered offensive security capabilities.

•Run the offensive security solution on real client engagements, including scoping, executing tooling, and delivering results.
•Triaging output to eliminate false positives and provide high-quality, actionable findings for clients.
•Advise clients through deployment and remediation, acting as a trusted security partner.
•Pentest Mistral’s own systems and hunt vulnerabilities internally and on open-source/in-the-wild targets between client engagements.
•Validate and triage cyber harness output, benchmark human vs. agent performance, and contribute to AI-powered offensive security capabilities.

•Be senior enough to run an engagement solo from scoping to delivery.
•Comfort using AI in your workflow with an understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
•Be client-facing and able to travel and switch between multiple engagements.
•Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality penetration testing results with strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
