Job Summary

Robotics field service engineer responsible for creating, deploying, repairing and maintaining Ocado’s advanced robotic systems at customer sites. Travels up to 75% to deployments and service events, mentors teammates, coordinates on-site resources, and drives process improvements while collaborating with sales, software, mechanical and electrical teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Function as the primary contact for technicians who are resolving problems in the field
•Use your background in automation to resolve unique and complex problems
•Mentor and develop skills of coworkers to empower them in performing repairs
•Manage onsite resources during repairs and deployments, including contractors and Ocado employees
•Oversee updates to preventative maintenance schedules and repair procedures

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•BS/MS – Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Engineering
•5+ years of experience in a related industry (e.g. industrial automation)
•Ability to independently perform complex repairs on both mobile and industrial robotic systems
•Ability to de-escalate, communicate, and document customer requests
•Experience supervising and training coworkers
