Job Summary

Lead and shape Zurich’s Operational Energy Onshore underwriting strategy in Spain. You’ll own underwriting performance, portfolio quality, governance, and the continued development of the Energy Onshore portfolio, including pricing discipline and risk appetite. Partner with Underwriting, Distribution, Claims, Risk Engineering, Actuarial, Finance and senior leadership to drive profitable growth, strengthen underwriting decisions, and ensure consistent standards across the region while acting as a senior referral point and guiding talent.

•Develop and execute the Spanish underwriting strategy for operational Energy Onshore aligned with business objectives.
•Own underwriting performance, quality and sustainability of the Energy Onshore portfolio, including governance and exposure management.
•Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, portfolio trends, and risk mitigation actions.
•Ensure consistent application of underwriting standards, guidelines, controls and best practices across the Spanish region.
•Lead, coach and develop underwriting talent while driving continuous improvement in underwriting processes and decision quality.
