Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement an enterprise observability strategy using Datadog and integrations with ServiceNow.
  • •Define monitoring standards (tagging conventions, dashboards, SLOs/SLIs, alerting policies) for infra and applications across on-prem, cloud, and containers.
  • •Deploy and manage Datadog agents and integrations (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, NGINX, DBs, messaging), and build golden dashboards, standardized monitors, and runbooks.
  • •Implement and optimize Datadog to ServiceNow event routing, correlation rules, deduplication, and Incident/Problem auto-creation with enriched context.
  • •Maintain SLOs/error budgets, reduce alert noise with actionable tiered alerts, and automate monitoring resources using IaC and CI/CD for consistent environments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • •5–8+ years in Infrastructure/Platform/SRE/Observability roles for enterprise environments.
  • •Expert hands-on Datadog experience (agents, integrations, logs pipelines, APM/tracing including OpenTelemetry, RUM, synthetics, dashboards, monitors, service catalogs, tagging).
  • •ServiceNow experience including Event Management, Incident/Problem/Change, CMDB design, Discovery, and integration patterns (webhooks, APIs, IntegrationHub).
  • •Proficiency with scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and Datadog/ServiceNow APIs, with experience designing SLOs/SLIs and reducing false positives to improve MTTR.
