Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the Black Box QMS on the shop floor to ensure projects are built to industry and customer standards.
  • •Coordinate quality expectations with program representatives and influence operational personnel to comply with installation specifications.
  • •Conduct Gemba walks and timely WIP quality inspections, and verify installed materials and accessible as-built design documentation.
  • •Report, record, monitor, and close nonconformance reports; participate in client and GC quality programs and trend data to identify recurring issues.
  • •Coach and train internal employees to integrate quality awareness into daily activities and support continuous improvement/Lean initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •2+ years field experience installing and testing fiber with structured cabling and/or data center cabling experience.
  • •Ability to implement and monitor a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • •Preferred professional certifications: OSHA 30-Hour (within six months of hire if not certified) and CommScope/BICSI certifications (e.g., IN225, IN250, TE350).
  • •Proven experience training technicians and quality standards; strong communication, coaching, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.
