Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to identify, define, and address business problems and opportunities through data analysis.
  • •Derive actionable insights from large, complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Define product measurement across north-star metrics, KPI/OKR frameworks, instrumentation, guardrails, and launch measurement for platform initiatives.
  • •Use AI coding and analysis tools to accelerate SQL/Python development, automate repeatable analytical work, and build reusable AI-assisted workflows with validation and human review.
  • •Create and maintain canonical datasets, semantic models, metric definitions, dashboards, and self-service experiences; partner with Data Engineering on quality, lineage, observability, and scalable pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in large-scale data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably in technology or SaaS.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related), with principal/staff-level scope shaping ambiguous problems and influencing roadmaps.
  • •Hands-on experience accelerating SQL/Python work with AI-assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
  • •Strong SQL data querying and manipulation, plus proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling, with ELT warehouse tools (Airflow, dbt, Snowflake).
  • •Experience with semantic layers, governed metric definitions, and BI/visualization tools such as Looker or Power BI for trustworthy self-service analytics.
