Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate on the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • •Develop and maintain local tooling and observability/deployment tooling and interfaces into AWS and CircleCI.
  • •Participate in an on-call rotation and help enhance the team’s on-call experience.
  • •Support continuous improvement of reliability, automation, and continuous deployment performance.
  • •Work with peers to mentor others and ensure teams understand cross-impact across Jobber.

Key Requirements

  • •Expertise providing systems support in a cloud environment, preferably AWS (some Azure experience helpful).
  • •Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).

  • •Ability to manage multiple projects while handling incident management and on-call responsibilities.
  • •Programming experience in Ruby, Python, or Bash, with a strong interest in reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
