Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the first point of contact for VanHMIS users, logging and resolving routine issues (login, password resets, access requests, navigation, troubleshooting) and guiding users on web/mobile data entry.
  • •Provide second-level DHIS2 technical and configuration support, maintaining configuration discipline through documented, tested, approved change control.
  • •Troubleshoot issues affecting reports, dashboards, analytics, reporting rates, validation rules, and metadata relationships; escalate unresolved defects and performance concerns.
  • •Support data quality through completeness/timeliness/consistency checks, assist programme and provincial teams in resolving data quality issues, and maintain approved validation rules and standard reports.
  • •Manage user access, roles, and system security procedures (account creation/disablement, least-privilege access, access reviews) and support training/coaching and system monitoring/maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • •At least two years of relevant professional experience providing user support for information systems, including troubleshooting, issue logging, and escalation.
  • •Experience working with data collection, reporting, or monitoring systems, preferably in health, government, development, education, or the broader public sector.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data review, cleaning, basic analysis, reporting, and documentation.
  • •Ability to develop or update user guidance materials such as job aids, FAQs, SOPs, and training materials.
