Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist developers in converting applications to 12-Factor principles and migrating cleanly between environments for containerized execution.
  • •Set up, monitor, and debug CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins, including enhancing Groovy-based Jenkins libraries for Docker container builds.
  • •Support application configuration and debugging across multiple languages including PHP, NodeJS, Java, Ruby, .NET Core, and sometimes Elixir.
  • •Introduce exception reporting and APM metrics into existing and new applications to improve runtime performance and error monitoring.
  • •Monitor, tune, and debug application health and Kubernetes cluster health; identify platform issues and implement improvements to the IKE Platform.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on with Git workflows (remotes, branching/merging, rebasing) and strong fundamentals of CI/CD tooling.
  • •Basic Jenkins knowledge, including jobs, pipelines, and webhooks, plus experience debugging and enhancing Jenkins libraries.
  • •Linux “power user” skills and a solid RDBMS design/tuning baseline.
  • •Docker proficiency (multi-stage builds, layer caching, volumes, container networking/IPC, docker-compose).
  • •Kubernetes familiarity (namespaces and core objects like Deployments, StatefulSets, and PersistentVolumes) and experience with Prometheus/Grafana monitoring.
