Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support for individual pupils and groups to enable full participation in school activities and their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
  • •Proactively support health and safety matters and comply with health and safety requirements, legislation, and school policies.
  • •Assist in implementing individual education programmes and help monitor pupils’ progress.
  • •Support pupils with additional support needs (e.g., emotional and behavioural difficulties) and help develop social skills.
  • •Assist teachers with records, displays, photocopying and other tasks; supervise pupils, check attendance, and support behavior policy and self-esteem.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum secondary school certificate.
  • •At least two-year experience in a school setting.
  • •English language skills according to the school curriculum.
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
