Key Responsibilities

•Drive the operating rhythm for R&D budget planning, forecasting, and monthly reporting across labor and non-labor expenses.
•Monitor R&D spending, project costs, resource utilization, and budget performance to identify variances, risks, and cost optimization opportunities.
•Manage day-to-day R&D financial operations including budget tracking, purchase order (PO) creation/management, accrual tracking, and financial data maintenance.
•Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with variance analysis and month-end close support, maintaining dashboards and cost analyses.
•Collaborate with Finance, R&D, project management, and IT to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, data quality, and automation; implement continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 83,000 - 131,000 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, preferably in R&D, engineering, or project-based environments.
•Experience with FP&A, management reporting, cost control, financial modeling, accounting, or financial operations such as budget tracking and variance analysis.
•Experience with R&D cost management (labor and non-labor), including NRE cost tracking.
•Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed engineering/IT/business/program management fields (or vocational education in project management) OR 6+ years of related experience.
•Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication with R&D, project management, and Finance teams.
