Job Summary

Support clients in developing and optimizing procurement and funding strategies for greener, sustainable infrastructure aligned to Net Zero targets. Contribute to business case development across the programme lifecycle, assess business challenges, and help implement “optimal” solutions. Tailor established tools and processes to each situation, present recommendations clearly, and work within a multi-disciplined team while identifying business generation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise clients on developing, implementing, and optimizing procurement and funding strategies aligned to Net Zero targets.
•Support business case development and infrastructure programme planning across the programme lifecycle.
•Assess business challenges, develop “optimal” solutions, and contribute to implementation.
•Tailor and deploy established processes, tools, and systems, contributing to continuous improvement.
•Present ideas and outputs clearly, deliver excellent client care, and identify business generation opportunities.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Experience in project finance and/or business case development, preferably for de-carbonisation and Net Zero.
•Understanding of UK policy guidance and economic benefit assessment, including social value and low carbon transition.
•Experience working with the public sector, managing transactions/projects in a public sector delivery environment across sectors.
•Experience with de-carbonisation/Net Zero technologies and services such as hydrogen, zero-emissions transport infrastructure, batteries (incl. storage), and carbon capture storage.
•Ability to prepare, define, and lead on bid proposals while working closely with senior management and the wider team.
