Key Responsibilities

  • •Own I&C design deliverables for assigned building-level or major systems, including point lists, I/O assignments, instrument schedules, and control system drawings from concept through as-built.
  • •Develop and execute factory acceptance testing (FAT) protocols, adjudicate discrepancies against design intent, and hold the release gate before shipment.
  • •Resolve equipment substitutions, field installation deviations, and calibration discrepancies by adapting procedures with minimal guidance.
  • •Lead coordination with control panel fabricators, systems integrators, and instrument suppliers on submittal review, specification compliance, and closure of open technical items.
  • •Coordinate control loop checkout, startup support, and field verification so modules arrive commissioning-ready, and mentor Engineer I and II teammates.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 8 years of professional experience in industrial instrumentation and controls with independent ownership across design and commissioning.
  • •Strong command of Rockwell and Allen-Bradley platforms, including Studio 5000 and ControlLogix or CompactLogix, with the ability to read, modify, and troubleshoot logic.
  • •Hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA (or comparable), including tag architecture, screen development, historian configuration, and troubleshooting integration issues.
  • •Proven ability to author and execute test procedures, drive discrepancies to closure, and make release decisions based on verification accuracy.
  • •A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
