Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and perform root-cause failure investigations and corrective actions for Starshield production non-conforming hardware.
  • •Contain suspect/known non-conforming products and drive root-cause progress with regular updates to technicians, production leadership, and engineering for quarantine and rework.
  • •Drive corrective actions using data-driven decisions based on yield and defect monitoring to identify common failure modes.
  • •Collaborate with Integration & Test engineers to improve manufacturing process feedback loops and test coverage.
  • •Support continuous improvement and an autonomous production system via PFMEA reviews, improved control/optimization of critical processes, and removal of redundant inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or reliability engineering (internships and co-ops acceptable).
  • •Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, or ability and willingness to obtain one.
  • •Programming experience in Python, C, or SQL with an emphasis on data analysis and automation.
  • •Experience applying statistical process control and design of experiments (DOE) in high-volume production environments.
