Job Summary

Lead and develop a regional Solutions Engineering team for EMEA, serving as the technical core of Teleport’s go-to-market motion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Coach SEs on technical depth and sales excellence (discovery, qualification, POC strategy, executive communication), partner with sales leaders to drive win rates, and engage with enterprise customers at executive and architect levels to ensure post-sale technical success.

Key Responsibilities

•Extend and develop a team of Solutions Engineers for EMEA.
•Train, coach, mentor, and guide Solutions Engineers toward successful performance, career progression, and personal growth.
•Coach SEs on technical depth and sales excellence, including discovery skills, business value articulation, POC strategy, and executive communication.
•Partner with regional sales leaders and Account Executives to balance SE utilization, prioritize opportunities, and drive technical win rates across the region.
•Engage directly with EMEA enterprise customers at the executive and technical architect level to build long-term relationships and ensure technical success post-sale.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 196,000 - 215,600 annually

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated experience managing a team of Solutions Engineers or other technical customer-facing professionals, with a record of developing talent and improving performance.
•Strong command of the pre-sales motion: discovery, technical qualification, POC design, and connecting technical capabilities to business outcomes.
•Experience managing customer outcomes across the journey from sales process to onboarding, adoption, and growth.
•Practical hands-on knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
•Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts (SSO, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, mTLS, zero trust architecture, PAM) and strong troubleshooting skills.
