Key Responsibilities

  • •Turn ML research outputs (code, models, ideas) into robust, scalable, low-latency microservices for production.
  • •Architect end-to-end solutions covering ingestion, integration, ETLs, database design, and low-latency services.
  • •Design and build automated workflows for model lifecycle tasks including auto-trains, benchmarking, testing, performance gating, and production deployment.
  • •Optimize backend performance—API response times, database connectivity, and concurrency—by making technical trade-offs between accuracy, responsiveness, and business cost.
  • •Operate ML infrastructure (Kubeflow, MLflow, KServe) for smooth model lifecycles with performance monitoring, cost efficiency, availability, and observability.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of backend software engineering experience building and maintaining large-scale, high-throughput production systems.
  • •Strong coding skills with clean, maintainable code; experience with OOP, package design, and microservices.
  • •Solid database design and deep SQL skills, including experience with relational and/or columnar (big data) databases and ORMs.
  • •Proven ability to build performant, fault-tolerant systems handling concurrency, with understanding of ETL tradeoffs.
  • •Ability to productionize ML systems by transforming research outputs into robust, scalable, low-latency services.
