Key Responsibilities

  • •Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit and supervising the team of Care Assistants.
  • •Support with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans and accurate record keeping.
  • •Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers.
  • •Assist with training and supervision of new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and supported.
  • •Build relationships with residents, families and external teams (GPs and District Nurses) and assist residents with personal care duties.
