Job Summary

Lead and manage the engineering team for industrial fastener products, covering product design, development, process optimization, and technical support. Own the New Product Development (NPD) process by formulating and executing development plans that meet market and customer needs. Coordinate daily engineering operations, budgeting, scheduling, and progress tracking, while driving continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Production, and Purchasing and support IP protection and customer technical discussions.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage the engineering team for industrial fastener products, overseeing design, development, process optimization, and technical support for timely delivery.
•Organize daily engineering department operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking.
•Drive the New Product Development (NPD) process, execute product development plans, and ensure products meet market and customer requirements.
•Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, Purchasing, and other departments to achieve business objectives via cross-functional teamwork.
•Continuously improve existing products by improving performance, reducing costs, introducing innovative processes/technologies, and supporting quality initiatives with Lean/Six Sigma.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Automation, or a related engineering discipline (Master’s preferred).
•5+ years of engineering/R&D/process management experience in manufacturing, preferably in fasteners or related industries.
•Strong knowledge of industrial fastener product design, manufacturing processes, and relevant standards, with product development and project management experience.
•Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
•Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other quality management systems; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
