Job Summary

Serve as the first point of contact for clients by monitoring IT infrastructure and handling standard, low-complexity incidents and service requests. Investigate and resolve issues to prevent SLA breaches, using telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support. Perform maintenance such as patching and configuration changes across multiple technology domains, update knowledge articles, and support disaster recovery activities and tests.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify problems and errors before or as they occur.
•Handle first-line incidents by diagnosing root causes and providing support via phone, ITSM tickets, or chat.
•Perform maintenance activities including patching and configuration changes to keep client systems running smoothly.
•Work across two or more technology domains (e.g., cloud, security, networking, applications, collaboration) and contribute to knowledge updates.
•Support disaster recovery functions and tests, and ensure seamless shift handovers while escalating incidents when needed.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security, network, data centre, systems, or storage in a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes.
•Highly disciplined handling of tickets day to day, acting promptly according to defined SOPs.
•Ability to resolve as many tickets as possible using knowledge articles and provided SOPs.
•A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT or Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
