Key Responsibilities

•Apply health and safety plans rigorously and maintain a safe work environment on each site
•Conduct soil, surface water, groundwater sampling and other media tests
•Supervise environmental boreholes and installation of observation wells
•Supervise excavation trenches and site rehabilitation works (ex situ or in situ) and monitoring/operational units
•Prepare field notes, daily reports and technical memos; participate in site meetings and mentor junior staff on sites

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 57,500 - 76,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Diploma in an environmental field (milieu naturel, protection de l’environnement, minéralogie, géologie, civil, etc.) or higher
•Card ASP Construction (ASP Construction card)
•Valid driver’s license
•0 to 2 years of experience in environment, characterization, monitoring or fieldwork
•Availability for work outside the Quebec City area and willingness to work variable hours (mostly regular workday hours)
