Key Responsibilities

  • •Be accountable for performance of two distributed engineering squads, setting expectations, delegating effectively, coaching, and addressing performance gaps.
  • •Own hiring and team planning across both squads, aligning capacity and skills with product priorities and longer-term needs.
  • •Lead discovery with squads by engaging customers, community members, and internal users, combining feedback with research and usage evidence to shape roadmaps.
  • •Partner with Product, Design, and engineering leaders to set priorities, resolve dependencies, and make trade-offs between customer needs, investments, and operational demands.
  • •Set engineering direction and standards for frontend foundations (developer experience, accessibility, architecture, tooling, reliability, multitenant capabilities) and for navigation/search/resource organisation, ensuring quality, security, and operability.
