Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and ship moderate-to-complex backend features with minimal guidance, choosing between modular-monolith code, shared components, or independently operated services.
  • •Define backend standards for style, maintainability, testing, APIs, and operational readiness; advocate for product quality, security, availability, and performance.
  • •Mentor associate and intermediate engineers, remove technical blockers, and improve team delivery practices via code and design reviews.
  • •Diagnose and prevent performance/reliability issues at scale, and participate in incident response as a technical owner where appropriate.
  • •Integrate AI into production engineering work by evaluating effectiveness and coaching others on responsible, high-judgment use.
