Key Responsibilities

  • •Construct, refurbish, and repair mold components using CNC and manual machines.
  • •Operate assigned CNC or manual machine(s) and record accurate dimensions with precision measuring tools.
  • •Read and understand blueprints and follow the shop schedule to complete operations within work cells.
  • •Maintain shop cleanliness and respond to safety/emergency events following established procedures.
  • •Support quality activities by observing/reporting nonconformities and assisting with quality investigation/CMM operations as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school education/GED equivalent.
  • •Ability to safely operate a forklift and sometimes climb on/off it without assistance.
  • •Ability to accurately read blueprints.
  • •Experience (Journeyman Level II/III) as a Certified Journeyman Tool Maker or equivalent, with relevant work areas.
  • •Ability to program and/or operate CNC tools using Mastercam, CNC, and/or Mazatrol (depending on level).
