Job Summary

Lead a residential solar installation crew to complete projects safely and efficiently. Coordinate daily work, review jobsite and inventory readiness, layout and assemble solar and racking components, apply weather sealing, and ensure clean, orderly sites. Support and guide fellow installers with technical expertise, participate in training and Power+ cross-training, and assist with solar battery installations when assigned. Serve as acting foreperson in foreperson absence.

Key Responsibilities

•Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
•Layout and assemble solar modules, mechanical and structural mounts, and electrical equipment and tools in preparation for installation.
•Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building, or support mechanisms.
•Assemble the racking, solar modules, panels, or support structures as specified in the project plan.
•Lead crew through safe, effective, and efficient installations while providing leadership and technical support; may act as foreperson in their absence.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30 - 40.01 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous solar installation experience required (construction or military experience may be considered).
•Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record with ability to pass a driving background check.
•Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including identifying and reporting safety hazards and encouraging safe work.
•Willingness and ability to participate in Power+ programs, including cross-training across departments, while meeting deadlines and key metrics.
