Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct sampling for airborne contaminants and physical hazards, providing technical recommendations to protect worker health.
  • •Develop asbestos monitoring and decontamination strategies and issue clearances.
  • •Undertake site surveys and pre-demolition surveys, including sampling of suspected hazardous building materials.
  • •Provide technical guidance during asbestos removal projects and assess indoor air quality, mould, and moisture with remediation recommendations.
  • •Manage a range of small-to-medium projects and analyse data to prepare technical reports, proposals, and assessments with senior staff support.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years in hazardous materials management and occupational hygiene consulting.
  • •Experience measuring and assessing occupational exposure to workplace hazards (chemical, physical, ergonomic, biological, and environmental factors).
  • •Knowledge of (or willingness to develop knowledge of) consulting and project life cycle, with initiative to develop client relationships and deliver high standards of service.
  • •A strong appetite to improve report writing, build relationships, and support project management.
  • •Australian Driver's License; Asbestos Assessors License is highly regarded.
