Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer first aid and emergency care per established protocols and coordinate outside emergency services when needed.
  • •Coach and lead the WorkSAFE team.
  • •Perform plant inspections, audits, and safety checks, and schedule and conduct safety training and evaluations.
  • •Maintain OSHA and company medical databases (nurse’s log) and complete required medical data entry.
  • •Administer the Workers’ Compensation Program, conduct ergonomic assessments, administer drug and alcohol screens, and assist with accident investigations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •EMT license or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
  • •CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • •Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint knowledge.
  • •Ability to read, speak, and write in English and handle/resolve most issues independently.
