  • •Manage an assigned caseload of complex property damage claims requiring knowledge of claims coverage and potential legal liability.
  • •Investigate claim damages using information from the insured, third parties, and external sources; identify discrepancies and subrogation potential.
  • •Determine coverage by analyzing complex policy terms and contingencies, review prior loss history, and create SIU referrals when appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
  • •2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience handling moderate-complexity losses, including writing estimates for dwelling and structural damages.
  • •Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.
  • •Proficient knowledge of residential construction and residential construction-related loss estimating.
  • •Proficient negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills; ability to travel 50-75% of the year and obtain/maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days (3 attempts).
