Job Summary

Support the delivery of the Cyber/Tech PI underwriting plan in Milan by selecting and pricing risks in line with underwriting appetite, guidelines, and frameworks. Underwrite mid-market and, with support, more complex Cyber/Tech PI exposures while collaborating with senior underwriters. Use tools and portfolio insights to inform decisions, manage a proactive pipeline, and maintain strong relationships with brokers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Support delivery of the Cyber/Tech PI underwriting plan in Milan, contributing to sound risk selection, pricing discipline and portfolio performance.
•Underwrite Cyber/Tech PI risks in line with underwriting appetite, guidelines and pricing frameworks, maintaining risk quality and governance.
•Assist senior underwriters with larger or more complex accounts, including data gathering, analysis, quote preparation and documentation.
•Use available tools, data and portfolio insights to inform underwriting decisions and identify trends and opportunities.
•Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers and customers as a responsive point of contact for day-to-day enquiries.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 35,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Cyber/Tech PI Underwriter or Cyber Broker (or related Financial Lines/Professional Indemnity) with interest in specializing in Cyber.
•Good understanding of Cyber/Tech PI risks, exposures, controls and coverages (or strong capability and appetite to build this quickly).
•Develop technical underwriting skills with a commitment to risk quality, underwriting discipline and robust governance.
•Demonstrate commercial awareness and understand how underwriting impacts portfolio performance and profitability.
•Ability to work with financial information and data to support underwriting decisions and reporting.
