Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead preparation and maintenance of engineering plans, schedules, and technical documentation for renewable energy projects.
  • •Design, simulate, test, and implement renewable power control applications for solar, battery energy storage, and wind assets.
  • •Configure and troubleshoot electronic databases using industry-standard communication protocols and datalinks.
  • •Serve as primary technical contributor during Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.
  • •Support site commissioning and provide remote technical support as needed, while coordinating hardware design, testing, integration, and shipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or related technical field) or equivalent education and experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years applying engineering principles in controls engineering, industrial automation, renewable energy, power generation, water treatment, manufacturing, or related environments.
  • •Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% domestically.
  • •Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Preferred: 5+ years in control system engineering and experience with Emerson Ovation, PLC/SCADA, and distributed control systems.
