Key Responsibilities

  • •Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings for aircraft structures, systems, and components using CATIA and SolidWorks.
  • •Generate engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
  • •Produce and configure manufacturing data packs and maintain relevant CAD models/“buy” parts within PLM/PDM systems.
  • •Collaborate with specialists across a multidisciplinary team and participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project discussions.
  • •Support prototype development, testing, production implementation, and troubleshoot manufacturing/assembly issues using design data.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •11–15 years of experience in an aerospace or mechanical design environment.
  • •Working knowledge of CAD tools (CATIA and/or SolidWorks).
  • •Training/knowledge of engineering drawing standards, GD&T, aerospace drafting practices, and aerospace/mechanical design principles.
  • •Knowledge of aircraft design principles, manufacturing processes, and configuration management practices.
