Job Summary

Perform land surveying for property and site activities to support building construction, alterations, valuations, land use, and map making. Conduct surveys using total stations, GPS, and aerial photogrammetry; establish control points; analyze field data; and produce accurate survey reports, drawings, maps, and legal descriptions. Provide layout services for construction projects, ensure compliance with surveying standards and relevant laws, and support HSE initiatives while coordinating with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and features using surveying instruments and techniques (total stations, GPS, aerial photogrammetry).
•Determine and mark property boundaries, easements, rights-of-way, and other land divisions in compliance with legal requirements and surveying standards.
•Create maps, charts, and plats from survey data to support land development, construction, and planning projects.
•Provide layout services for construction projects (site grading, building locations, infrastructure alignments) and establish horizontal and vertical control points.
•Collect, compile, and analyze survey data to generate survey reports/drawings and prepare legal documents; support HSE initiatives and communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years working experience, with 3 years relevant working experience (2 years GCC experience is a plus).
•Proficiency in the principles and practices of land surveying, including surveying techniques, principles, and equipment.
•Ability to conduct land surveys and determine property boundaries and topography using instruments such as total stations, GPS, and aerial photogrammetry.
•Experience preparing survey outputs including sketches, maps, charts, plats, survey reports/drawings, and legal documents (property descriptions, boundary certificates, survey plats).
•ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, and ability to ensure compliance with surveying standards and relevant laws and regulations.
