Key Responsibilities

  • •Take ideas from paper to prototype to production, including model selection and system-level composition.
  • •Build and deploy LLM-based solutions, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and intelligent automation workflows.
  • •Write real code and execute research-style experimentation (hypotheses, ablations) while measuring and evaluating results.
  • •Design robust evaluation and training processes, including building the eval before modeling and validating outputs for real product performance.
  • •Develop training pipelines (dedup, filtering, decontamination, format normalization) and ensure models run in production reliably; assist with mentoring/direction as the team grows.

Key Requirements

  • •MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field; exceptional BS candidates with substantial research or open-source work may be considered.
  • •First-author publications at NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, or similar, or meaningful open-source ML contributions, or research internship at an AI lab.
  • •Hands-on fine-tuning of open-weight models, including understanding parameter-efficient vs full fine-tuning and articulating why you chose an approach.
  • •Strong Python and PyTorch; familiarity with training/serving stack such as HuggingFace, FSDP/DeepSpeed, vLLM/SGLang (or equivalents).
  • •Experience with multi-GPU training and production deployment (including debugging post-training issues) plus evidence of shipping model-based product features with accuracy/latency goals.
