Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide onsite engineering support for engine teardown, inspection, and rebuild activities by evaluating hardware conditions and delivering timely technical guidance to depot operations.
  • •Develop and implement design solutions by applying engineering standard work and collaborating with cross-functional engineering disciplines to support product improvements.
  • •Serve as the design engineering representative on Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs), balancing durability, performance, manufacturability, cost, and weight requirements.
  • •Evaluate serviceability of MSEN engine hardware by reviewing teardown inspection findings, determining component dispositions, documenting engineering decisions, and presenting recommendations.
  • •Support structural analysis and component design improvements by applying analytical methods and collaborating with experienced analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in Engineering with 3 years; relevant experience in engineering design and/or analysis.
  • •Experience resolving engineering design and/or analysis challenges related to physical systems.
  • •Aerospace industry experience with a strong preference for turbofan engine design, development, or sustainment.
  • •Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Teamcenter, and experience with Siemens NX or comparable 3D CAD for mechanical design.
  • •Familiarity with structural analysis tools such as Ansys, and interest in applying analytical methods to support engineering design decisions.
