Key Responsibilities

•Provide specialist technical consultancy and design services for traffic control engineering projects for internal and external clients, including design layouts, reports, ITS1827 forms and MOVA data sets.
•Produce design packages for junctions and crossings and contribute to RAMS, hazard logs and technical assurance evidence.
•Provide implementation support (FAT, SAT, MOVA Bus priority, SCOOT Validation) and respond to technical queries and approvals.
•Coordinate with highways, structures, drainage, geotechnical, environment and traffic teams to integrate technology with civil and electrical works and engage with clients across the UK.
•Mentor junior team members and ensure deliverables meet client briefs and AECOM quality procedures.

Key Requirements

•BEng or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, or Civil Engineering.
•Knowledge of the latest traffic control engineering design standards, implementation support processes and traffic signal technology applications.
•Proficiency in producing technically assured deliverables (AutoCAD, Civils3D), equipment schedules, ITS1827 forms, and MOVA designs including MOVA data sets and design reports.
•NHSS8 / HERS registered.
•Experience in traffic control engineering design and implementation support, especially MOVA control.
