Key Responsibilities

  • •Demonstrate leadership in safety by enforcing safety rules, encouraging safe behaviors, and correcting unsafe conditions and actions.
  • •Execute the production schedule and coordinate daily operator activities to meet quality specifications and ATP requirements while minimizing downtime.
  • •Supervise and develop employees, including hiring/termination activities, corrective actions, annual reviews, training, coaching, counseling, conflict resolution, and discipline.
  • •Become an expert in key process areas and ensure conformance to SQF/HACCP/GMP, sanitation, preventative maintenance, and required procedures.
  • •Use SAP and other software for materials flow transactions; maintain and update operating procedures, validate critical control points, and report equipment/instrumentation malfunctions for timely repair.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 90,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year degree preferred in engineering, food technology, or business; or 5 years production supervision with demonstrated leadership.
  • •Minimum 2 years experience in a dairy plant or related industry; familiarity with spray drying and powders processing is highly desirable.
  • •Ability to understand and oversee functioning process equipment across production departments.
  • •Good communication, leadership, planning, and organizational skills, with an influential track record in training.
  • •Strong computer/IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with relevant software systems is required.
